Every single character runs on one shared safety core — the same rules we've developed and hardened over years of running KidsChatGPT:
- Safety beats character, always. Every character is instructed that if staying in character would ever conflict with a safety rule, it must break character. A character can never be talked into ignoring the rules by clever roleplay.
- Age-appropriate language only. Short responses, simple words, patient and friendly tone — designed for young children.

- Blocked-word filtering on every message, before it ever reaches the AI.

But here's the difference: that memory lives only in your own browser, on your own device. Our servers never store conversations tied to your child's identity. There is no chat log to leak, sell, or subpoena — because it doesn't exist on our side.
Only safe, fun details are remembered — a favorite color, a beloved pet, a dream job. The memory system is deliberately built so it cannot capture names, addresses, or anything identifying. And clearing it is as easy as clearing your browser data.
